For the 4th Fryers Club Roast at Burton Place we set our sights on Abbi Blaze - Chicago-based comedian and merch girl for a friend's band. Abbi has travelled all over the country, selling merch for her friends band and passively entertaining people buying her friend's band's merch. She is frequently-cited as "intimidating" and "hard to follow because I can't project as loud as her". She often takes her comedy stylings to the middle of the crowd if the mic cord is long enough or is connected via Bluetooth.
The dais is made up of a bunch of her racist friends, which is good because they are all themselves different races, so there's a lot of material to work with here. The night will very likely appeal to fans of Kill Tony, in addition to people to recognize Abbi and her friends. If you're out in Old Town, Chicago on Saturday June 6th, at 8pm and think Zanies and Second City are "too normal", come to Burton Place Bar & Grill's 3rd floor to watch a bunch of skinny people and a couple of obese men show each other how to properly be banned from events at Zanies and Second City.
